New Safety Rule for Children's
Item
We are
recommending which items are available for children’s product. New CPSC rule require 600PPM total maximum lead content
by February 10th, 2009, 90PPM from August, 2009. Under the new law, all children’s products will require
a test report about lead. Please visit www.cpsc.gov for further information regarding the new regulations.
Children's products which are designed or intended for children 12 and under will require stringent testing for
lead. These items will require testing by a third party lab on or after December 21, 2008. Third party labs posted here http://www.cpsc.gov/about/cpsia/accredited.html
